Blogging = Narcissism

I gotta say, I always felt a bit of an aversion to blogging, why should anyone care about me, or what I say? Isn't blogging just this ages most prolific form for narcissism and narcissistic expression? Perhaps we/I shouldn't care about others reading/caring, gotta write for me. Just a personal journal of thoughts and theories.
